The Term Two Environment Team celebrated their successful role, with lunch in the Lalor Park Community Garden and an interesting tour of the garden. They learnt about the life of the Banana Plant, smelt some fragrant flowers and herbs and even tasted some edible flowers. The visit culminated in a ramble through the Secret Garden and a good time was had by all!
Maybe, “That Visiting Scientist” can work her magic and turn that Tomato
red and the Beetroot into a larger one! All things are possible
in Nature,
especially in Bluey’s Patch!
As Winter approaches the interest and
activity in Bluey’s Patch ramps up, with watering
and rubbish collection to be done and then there is always “Tadpole” spotting,
in the Frog pond!
