All Hands on Deck!

For the Environment Team, it was a case of "all hands on deck" as they carefully, (yet joyfully!) transported the succulents, mother-in-law's tongue and a scarecrow (in need of a make-over!) to the new garden area! While in other areas of the garden, some interesting characters, were popping up!

Keep Our School Clean!

Some  students were “doing their bit” to help with the relocation of the garden, by watering plants which are on stand-by,  replanting the jonquils and giving them a good drink! It seems a worm had also relocated … well spotted, Ariel! Meanwhile, Stage 2 and 3 were given a practical lesson in how to Reduce, Reuse and Recycle, by Marc from Keep NSW Beautiful Antonio and Acuoth, said that the session was :“Very interesting, educational and the Rubbish Game was the best!”

Environment Team - Term 3, 2019!

The Term Three *Environment Team had a big smile for the camera, as they took on the job of guiding their fellow students through the changes in the garden area! However, there is still weeding and watering to be done and the birds are grateful that the students are ensuring there is fresh water in their Bird Bath! Meanwhile, the “Let’s Cook and Create” students used a creative method to identify Capsicum, Lettuce, Cucumber, Olives and Bananas, to rustle up a healthy snack and drink!
*Ana (Yr 5) will also join the Team; on her return to school … Marcus (Yr 5) has kindly offered to do her job, in the interim!
