The 6th Parramatta Learning Community for Sustainability was held at St Nicholas Primary Penrith on 31 August ... the eve of Spring!Educators from around the Diocese gathered in the new hall with a dedicated area to St Mary MacKillop and a Kitchen Garden near by.
Luke Edwards, (Acting Director of Catholic Earthcare Australia) presented 'The Call to Care', inspirational and practical stories from schools were shared and a generous donation of seeds, was gratefully received!
The next meeting will be hosted by St Andrew's Primary Marayong, on Wednesday 16 November, from 2-4pm.
