The Term 4 Environment Team was announced and the Term 3 members did an efficient ‘hand-over’! Students returned to Bluey’s Patch to discover produce, (some ready to eat!) top up the Wicking Beds and clear away the rubbish, which accumulated over the 2 week break! Mr Fuller had planted some water melon seeds (a gift from Mrs T!) and these also needed watering!
The Term 3 Environment Team were congratulated on their fine work, in keeping Bluey’s Patch running smoothly, the Crunch & Sip Buckets regularly emptied and cleaned and for attendance and participation at the weekly meetings! This effort was rewarded with a Presentation Ceremony, where each Team member received a “Certificate of Excellence” and a Party Pack, which included a packet of seeds! Their last chores included watering, mulching the wicking beds and hedge trees and checking on the progress of the strawberries … Well done to all!
