'From Little Things Big Things Grow!'

“From little Things Big Things Grow” … that certainly was the case with the ‘Pots of Fun’ planted last year, when over the break (thanks to Mr Fuller watering and the function of the Wicking Beds) and despite all odds, several large beetroot were harvested and distributed among excited students!

The Environment Team for Term 1 has been announced and the students will take up their responsibilities this week … congratulations and enjoy the role!

 

 

The International Year of Plant health!

A new year, a new decade, heralded in with “drought and flooding rains”! This diversity of weather offers an opportunity to think of smarter ways to grow our garden and keep our school environment rubbish-free and healthy, so that it is alive with butterflies, bees, ladybirds and worms! This year has been declared by the United Nations as The International Year of Plant Health … even more reason to give it a go!
