Schools Tree Day at St Bernadette's Primary Lalor Park began with the Environment Team planting a Mary MacKillop Callistemon (Bottlebrush) in the school garden. The day became even more exciting when Natasha McLeod and Natasha Borg from the Catholic Education Office, Parramatta arrived with camera and microphone in hand, to film a short video!
The morning concluded with the Environment Team each receiving a tube stock Callistemon to take
home and nurture ... they will be required to bring in a photo of their plant at the end of the year and the healthiest one, will win the competition! Click on News - St Bernadette's Primary takes up the call to action by Pope Francis!
